Dua Lipa is a English artist and performer born on 22nd August 1995, at London United Kingdom. In 2014, after working as a model and actress she signed with Warner Bros Records. She dropped her self-titled debut album in 2017. The album climbed to number. 3 in the U.K. Charts. The album had eight singles released including Be the First I.D.G.A.F. as well as New Rules. In the United States it peaked as number 6. The album, which has now been certified Platinum in various countries across the world was awarded the two Brit Awards (in 2018) for British Female Solo Artist and British Breakthrough artist. She was born to Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa Rexha and Dukagjin Lipa. By virtue of her maternal grandmother, she has Bosnian origin. You can also trace Lipa's ancestral roots through Peja within Kosovo. The grandparents of Lipa were both historians. Gjin as well as Rina are her siblings. Lipa was heavily influenced by music by her father, who was the guitarist and singer in the Kosovan rock band Oda.
